When the tenant first logs in they pay their holding deposit by card or by bank transfer. Once they have paid, the referencing & contracts icons will become red and be able to be actioned.
Once a tenancy has moved in and completed the ‘pre-tenancy’ journey, the standard view of the platform changes to ‘the date ladder’. All documents are held in a document centre for each Tenant, Guarantor and Landlord for the lifespan of the tenancy, for access at any time. This includes TOBs, AST, Credit Checks, How to Rent Guides and Safety Certificates such as the Gas Safety Certificate, EPC etc.
The date ladder is a high-level view of the tenancy milestones starting with the soonest. Dependent on whether you are a landlord, tenant, guarantor or agent you will see a slightly different version of the date ladder.
The tenant can update their right to rent document, raise maintenance issues (via API partner) and serve notice.
The landlord can update safety documents.
